really really nice approach... love the painted figures and houses... only first improving words from my side would be to change the selection color (White on whitely ground keep me confused if i selected anything ;) ) and the other thing is that you maybe give these lovly figures some more animations :)
Thanks for the feedback! I'd certainly like to spend longer on animations, maybe in a post-jam update or in a follow up game... I made the decision to opt for a Prison Architect style fairly early on, mainly so I could concentrate on the other aspects of the game. Good point about the selection colour! Weirdly it never crossed my mind! :D
